In the original *Star Wars* (speaking chronologically), Chewbacca and R2-D2 are playing Dejarik, a holographic chess game, aboard the Millennium Falcon. Though he has a superior position, R2-D2 ends up following C-3PO’s advice to “let the Wookie win” after Han Solo points out that Wookies have been know to rip their opponents arms off.
